Ministry of Justice is planning to expand the use of footstorms

Vienna – The Ministry of Justice plans to expand the use of the ankle bondage and the possibility of conditional dismissal in prisoners. Specifically, a pedestrian should also be able to be used for people who still have 24 months in prison – the limit is currently twelve. Serious offenses are excluded. There should also be relief for prisoners for conditional layoffs: In the future, purely general preventive reasons should no longer prevent them.
