Wound for Slovak Town: Died Member († 63), who worked in office for more than a quarter of a century

Tuesday’s meeting of the Municipal Council (MsZ) in Galanta began with a minute of silence in memory of the deceased long -time director of the local grammar school and city deputy Petr Černý. He died on Saturday 10. May 63 years old.

“For many of us, Peter Černý was a symbol of professionalism and peace. Since 1998, more than a quarter of a century, he has been continuously working as a MsZ deputy in Galanta”Said the Mayor of the City Peter Kolek.

He highlighted his perseverance and willingness to serve public interest. “As a long -time chairman of the Education Commission and a member of several expert committees, he actively participated in the formation of many decisions that influenced not only the running of the city, but also the future of the residents,” added the mayor.
