It also prevents you from getting rid of common chemistry and starting to drain into wastewater only what does not hurt anyone? It’s time to demolish them and find out how it really is with natural cleaning.

There can be several reasons to throw out the cleaning cabinets once and for all, with those that come only from natural sources. Maybe you care about the planet. Or you watch your own health and what you breathe at home. Maybe you have a domestic waste water treatment plant and you can’t even use chemistry. Maybe you are discouraged by some of the most common myths that exist around him. However, neither of them pays.

1. It’s expensive

The first and most common myth. And indeed, when you look at the shelves of ecological cleaning agents in the drugstore, you may quickly find that many of them are less or significantly more expensive than conventional products. But it’s like choosing common means. You can buy the really expensive, or bet on sometimes equally effective from private brands. At the same time, however, it is often concentrates – you consume less than conventional chemistry. However, natural remedies, unlike those made in the factory, offer one more option. You can easily mix them at home yourself. This means that at the beginning you invest in individual components, which you then mix in the desired ratio. As a result, you pay significantly less than for normal chemistry. And do not forget to invest in your own health and the health of your loved ones and pets, which is not negligible in this case.

2. It’s a complex

Even in this case, it depends on the approach. If you decide to clean up naturally, but do not want to do more effort than cleaning itself, without worrying about investing in the products you can find in the drugstore. But always choose verified brands (including private and lots of Czech manufacturers) and do not be fooled just by being “green”. Legislation does not yet remember ecological cleaners, so it is necessary to monitor the designation and composition. But it is enough to really focus on a few proven products or brands, and then it’s the same as if you were going to buy common means.

But the preparation of their own products is not complicated either. It takes only a few minutes in the vast majority of cases, including the spilling bottle. You can find lots of proven recipes on the Internet, including those recommended by Kateřina Brožová.

3. It’s dangerous

Yes. Like when working with citric acid, for example, you can get rid of mold using a classic chlorine product. Natural cleaners are definitely not something you should leave freely within the reach of children or pets. But this applies to all cleaning products. “I definitely recommend to monitor the concentration of the products you are buying,” advises Kateřina Brožová. “For example, you should always buy hydrogen peroxide at a three percent concentration. It can stick your hands or destroy clothes. But it is worth having it at home because it is a great helper for mold.” Moreover, without poisonous vapors.

4. It is ineffective

In natural cleaning, it is really important to follow the procedure. When you need warm vinegar or need to have a few minutes, you can not start scrubbing immediately. However, the time for proper effects sometimes needs common means. “In my experience, natural cleaning agents are often much more effective than a number of conventional means,” confirms blogger Kateřina Brožová.

5. It is without a scent

How and how ever. If you buy a washing gel, do not expect the smell. The perfumes added to the drugstore and cosmetics often contain ingredients that do not completely dislike with nature. Manufacturers, however, often try to smell products naturally, such as essential fragrant oils. And you can do the same in domestic production. “For example, if you dilute vinegar, and add a few drops of essential oil, you eliminate the typical acetic fragrance that discourages someone,” says Kateřina Brožová. However, you can also clean without a scent and have some nice oil in the corner of the room in the diffuser or even drop a little essential oil into the lux hose before vacuuming. The smell will be exactly what you want. But without compromising towards your health and nature.

Good for health

Natoxic is sometimes called natural cleaning. You only clean up with means that do not harm nature, but not to you. Natural remedies can be used without worrying in the domestic wastewater treatment plant, but the IC is better off waste water in the city. At the same time, chemistry limitation benefits your health. For example, latest medical research clearly shows that if several times a week – for example, in normal cleaning – you expose to substances that are released into the air from the cleaning agents, it is much more likely that chronic lung disease or other serious lung disease develops. For example, the remnants of cleaning agents in the bathtub can irritate the skin. Likewise, the residues of a common dishwasher on plates and cutlery (which normally remain on the rinse) affect our hormonal system and can lead to the development of various metabolic diseases, including the second type diabetes.

In the podcast IREPEPTER TO EAR For you, we talk to interesting experts and inspiring personalities from various fields and bring answers to the questions that bothers you. You can find a new episode every Tuesday at noon not only on podcast platforms, but also on our website. With Kateřina Brožová, whose blog you may know for the peace or a series of cleaning agents of the same name, we talked about why it is better to clean without the use of chemistry.

What would you advise someone who has never cleaned with ecological means and would like to try?

Well that’s an interesting question. I would advise him to start with the Uni cleaner, which I call the Uni, because it is really everything. It is white vinegar with water and a few drops of essential oil and all that cannot be used for is natural wood and natural stone. Otherwise, you will clean it from the bathroom through the kitchen, living room, floors, so I like it very much that we do not have to have four cleaners for the bathroom, the kitchen another five and so on. That I do it all with one. So I would recommend to try this Uni white vinegar cleaner and then you can gradually add baking soda. Percarbonate sodium, it is great for washing. Or hydrogen peroxide for disinfection. Infection and anything else. Step by step.

How does cleaning with natural agents and common chemistry differ?

Specifically, what I recommend is the difference that your little cooperation is required. You mix them yourself. But it is not complicated, you take two or three ingredients and mix them together. While you can use common chemistry directly. And of course this also applies to natural remedies from the store.

What is the truth that nature is less powerful?

I try to refute this statement regularly. I have another experience, not only me, but also my readers, who may be written that after years of rehearsing everything they managed to get rid of the yellow crust in the toilet. Thanks to white vinegar. So I think nature has much more power.
