Caixa Econômica Federal began on Wednesday (14), the release of the withdrawal of the FGTS Time Guarantee Fund (FGTS) for public calamity for workers residing in Rio Branco. The measure is intended for the population affected by the last flood and was made possible after the mapping of the areas affected by the Municipal Civil Defense.

The procedure will be performed exclusively digitally, through the application FGTS Calamityfrom the box. The benefit is available to private initiative workers, with a formal contract, who have a balance in the background and who have not requested the same type of withdrawal in the last 12 months for the same reason.
To have access to the appeal, it is necessary to prove residence in one of the affected areas, upon presentation of a proof of address with date of issuance of up to 90 days prior to the disaster. At the time of the request, the document must be attached directly by the application.
Workers who are unable to present proof of residence must seek the Rio Branco Civil Defense headquarters, starting next Saturday, 17, to request an official statement proving their residence in one of the affected regions.
The maximum amount authorized for withdrawal is R $ 6,220.00 per worker.
The initiative is the result of a joint action between the Municipal Civil Defense and Caixa Econômica Federal, with the objective of providing financial relief to families impacted by the impacts of the flood.
