In the second stop of his journey through the Middle East, the US President signed new commercial and multimillion military agreements, including the sale of 160 Boeing aircraft to Qatar airline.
After a historic meeting with the interim president of Syria, in Riade, Donald Trump traveled on Wednesday to Qatar, the second stop in this journey through the Middle East. The White House announced more multimillionaire agreements.
Less than 24 hours after signing, with the heir prince of Saudi Arabia, a strategic partnership that, according to the White House, represents 500 billion euros for the US economy, Donald Trump and the Qatar Emir sealed new millionaire contracts.
The president of the United States ensures that one of the contracts will result in the sale of 160 planes, manufactured by Boeing, to Qatar’s airline.
The trade agreement, which also provides for the sale of weapons, comes after the controversial offer of a luxury plane from the Royal Family from Emirate to Donald Trump.
Despite criticism from the Democratic Party, Donald Trump has rejected any ethical conflict and announced that he will use the “flying palace” as a presidential plane. The two countries also signed military cooperation agreements.
This stop was preceded by the announcement of the end of sanctions to Syria and the meeting, still in Saudi Arabia, between Donald Trump and the Syrian interim president-a former jihadist militant who helped overthrow the Assad dynasty and have caused the US president a good first impression.
Donald Trump’s next stop will be in the United Arab Emirates, maintaining a doubt about a possible trip to Türkiye.
