Hospitalized in full electoral campaign André Ventura, leader of the ultra -right of Portugal

The leader of the Portuguese ultra -right party Chega, André Ventura, was hospitalized on Tuesday after being bad during a political rally. According to local media, Ventura was offering a speech in the Tavira exhibition park, in the Algarve region, in the south of the country, when De sudden form took his hand to the chest and then to the throat.

He was quickly surrounded by his safety and was taken out of the stage to be transported in ambulance to the Hospital del Faro. Portugal’s acting prime minister Luís Montenegro wished him a speedy recovery and that is not “serious”, in a message in his X account.

In the same room where the rally, the parliamentary leader of Chega, Pedro Pinto, said later that Ventura was “well and conscious”, but that he was going to be taken to a hospital to evaluate his state of health. Ventura is campaign for the legislative elections next Sunday.
