Judge Maria Lúcia Pizzotti, from the São Paulo Court of Justice, requested President Fernando Antonio Torres Garcia on Monday to revoke confidentiality about the calculation of the use of official car to bring a fan with the shirt of Sao Paulo Futebol Clube to the Morumbi Stadium.
Pizotti called for the identification of those who broke the rules on the use of the Court’s vehicle and the disclosure of “circumstances related to the unfortunate and unethical episode”.
On Tuesday, the TJ-SP informed the blog that “the reported facts remain under analysis and the court will soon conclude the investigation”.
“At the time of the facts, the vehicle was available to Judge Enio Santarelli Zulliani,” confirmed the Directorate of Social Communication.
The request was made a month after the photograph of the TJ-081 plate vehicle was published on the Metropoles website, which revealed the case. Pizzoti attached a copy of the report.
“Using an official car, spending gasoline pays on public money, is a reprehensible, severe attitude, naked from shame and judiciary, and therefore, publicly investigated,” the magistrate said in the application.
“Although there is an improper habit of applying almost generally confidentiality in the findings involving magistrates, the rule of any administrative procedure is that of advertising,” said the judge.
“Confidentiality in such cases protects only the one who has failed ethical norms, but unprotects society,” Pizzotti said.
Zulliani’s name circulated in court, but Pizzotti avoided quoting, in the request, “who was responsible for the serious disinalic.”
“Everyone who makes use of official cars, judges or second -degree judges have been performing their duties as magistrates for at least three decades, enough time to know and rigorously apply the duties of office. But still, the already long -term magistrate has not done, and therefore, it must be harmed widely and transparently.”
“It takes courage to establish procedures against judges,” the judge recorded in the petition, citing former President Pinheiro Franco, who “had the necessary courage” to investigate the cases of judges who had late judicial work.
