Ambassadors of the Member States with the EU approved the 17th Package of Community Sanctions to Russia by Ukraine Invasionthree months after another, aiming to weaken the Russian economy and the funding of the war.

The president of the European Council considered on Wednesday that the approval of the latest package of sanctions against Russia is an “important agreement” and demonstrates support to the Ukrainian population.
