This strategy began to show notable results from November 2024, with a strong acceleration in the growth of its user base. In April 2025, Tempu surpassed both the free market and Amazon in the volume of new users purchased.
The analysis of marketing channels in the period also reveals that the growth of the fear was mainly driven by two sources: direct traffic and social media. In these two specific channels, the Chinese has shown absolute leadership, which forces digital audience attraction and engagement campaigns, evaluates Similarweb.

Consumer behavior also reflects the growing relevance of Temu. Currently, more than 11% of users who access the free market also visit Chinese e-commerce, a rate that has grown significantly in recent months, indicating multiple access behavior between platforms.
In the application environment, the scenario varies according to the operating system. In Android, Tempu has overcome Amazon in active users since July 2024 and maintains a continuous growth trajectory, while Amazon demonstrates stability. However, in the iOS ecosystem, Amazon remains as a leader in active users, and Temu has a falling trend in this system.
