When to plant carrots?
The end of April is the ideal time to sow carrots in the open soil. By this point, the ground is already well warmed to 8-10 ° C, which is necessary for uniform seed germination.
Carrots should be sown in well -lit beds with fluffy and light primer. If the planting is prolonged until mid -May, carrots may develop less due to high temperature and rapid land drying.
Before sowing, it is worth soaking the seeds in warm water to speed up germination.
The seed insertion depth should not exceed 1-1.5 cm so that the seedlings quickly appear on the surface. The first sprouts usually appear within 7-14 days, depending on the weather.

When to plant cabbage?
Cabbage sprouts are planted in open soil precisely in late April or early May. By this time, the seedlings should have 4-5 true leaves and be hardened outdoors.
Planting is best on a cloudy day or in the evening to make young plants more adaptable. For early cabbage varieties, this period is optimal, as the plants will later develop better as the air warms up.
Late varieties can also be planted at the moment to yield harvest at the end of summer or. It is important to properly prepare the primer: it must be fertile, wet and well shaved.
Planting cabbage should be watered regularly, especially in the first weeks.
Beetroot planting
Beetroot is preferably at the end of April or in the first days of May, when the soil is well warmed. At about 10 ° C, the seeds germinate quickly and the seedlings become strong and the same.
If you sit beetroot earlier, in a cold primer, plants can release inflorescences.
Before sowing, it is advisable to soak the seeds in warm water for several hours to speed up the germination. Sow beets in a well -lit place, in a light, nutritious ground without standing water.
The optimum sowing depth is about 2-3 cm, the distance between the rows is 20-25 cm. When the sprouts appear, they must be thinned to make the root vegetables large and smooth.
