A dance in New Zealand’s parliament has followed for Māori MPs

At first Hana-Rawhiti Maipi Clarke was still quiet in her place in the New Zealand parliament. Just as if she were to start an everyday speech. But shortly afterwards it got loud. The Member of the Māori Party pushed out a scream and began with the performance of a haka, a ritual dance of the Māori. Some more joined.
