Banquet salad is really potato salad. It is the popular vegetables in Poland that are a filling base. There is no shortage of it too apples, carrots and cornwhich add more sweets and juiciness. A good salad should also have fresh and crunchy elements – in this case pepper and cucumber.
The salad comes out moist and full of taste thanks to simple dressing. It is prepared from mayonnaise, cream, salt and pepper. The attachment served in glass cups or salad bowls looks really elegant. It will seem even more appetizing when you decorate it with pomegranate seeds. Banquet salad is the perfect combination of Poles’ favorite flavors. For this she is filling and refreshing.
Ingredients:
- 200 g of potatoes,
- 100 g carrots,
- 100 g of corn,
- 1/2 green pepper,
- 1/2 of the long greenhouse cucumber,
- apple.
Dressing:
- 100g majonezu,
- 50 g of sour cream 18%,
- a teaspoon of pepper,
- A teaspoon of salt.
Additionally:
- Pomegranate seeds for decoration.
Method of performance:
Cook potatoes and carrots until tender – the carrot can be slightly al dente. Cool.
Cut all vegetables into small cubes and drain the corn from the pickle. Transfer them to a salad bowl and initially mix.
In a separate bowl, prepare dressing, stirring with yourself mayonnaise with cream and spices. Pour the remaining ingredients with the prepared sauce and mix well.
Transfer the banquet salad to cups or salad bowls. Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds and put in the fridge for at least an hour to make the flavors penetrate.
Serve the dish cold. Store the remains in the fridge, in a tight container and use within 3 days. It’s best to sprinkle the salad with a pomegranate directly before serving.
