China strengthens relations with Latin America by visa -free intercourse.

China announced on Thursday that from 1 June it will be temporarily applied to the policy of visa -free intercourse for Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay. High -ranking representatives of the States of Latin America and the Caribbean (CELAC) apparently agreed with China’s representatives this week during the joint ministerial conference in Beijing. According to Reuters report, TASR reports this.

The visa -free agreement will be valid for one year from 1 June, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Lin Jien said on Thursday at a regular press conference. Brazil, Argentina and Chile are among the largest economies in the Latin America region, where Beijing has long been trying to consolidate its position and improve its relationships.

Traveling to China without the obligation to get a visa has been possible for most European countries, as well as for some Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea.

During the Ministerial Conference in Beijing, the Chinese President Si Jin-Pching promised to provide Latin American countries in the amount of $ 9 billion and new investments in local infrastructure.
