The president of the arrival, André Ventura, reappeared this Friday in the election campaign, through a videochamada from home with some leaders, at the end of a visit to the Livramento Market in Setúbal.
Already in the final stretch of this visit, when the entourage left the market, André Ventura spoke for Videochamada with the parliamentary leader, Pedro Pinto, and the head of the list by Setúbal, Rita Matias, who led the group during this penultimate campaign action.
In this call, the arrival leader said he already feels better and that he is “recovering”, although he still has “some chest and wrist pain” after being sick again on Thursday at the end of the morning, during an ruined in Odemira, and was again assisted in a hospital.
“What I am suffering for not being there to do this campaign with you. I’ve seen that it is going very well and that we are having a lot, a lot of support,” he said, saying that he “costs him” is absent from this final straight of the campaign.
Ventura wished “a lot of strength” to the arrival leaders and said that the party is waging “a huge struggle for Portugal and to change the country.”
“I know you are perfectly able to do this task, even if I am not there, they are perfectly able to do the cleaning that Portugal needs,” he said.
“I hope to give you a hug to everyone soon for the huge work they are doing. […] I’m sure we will beat Setúbal also in these next elections. Continue this fight, it’s really worth it. My health is just a small part of this fight that we have to crash, “said the arrival president.
Pedro Pinto sent a hug and replied, “We are together.” Already Rita Matias transmitted André Ventura “many hugs and many kisses” of supporters, indicating that they told him that “had pity” of not seeing the leader of the arrival and asked him to “return soon to victory” because the party “misses his”.
The mobile phone was then raised in the air for the entourage to see André Ventura and several leaders and supporters took the opportunity to greet the party leader and leave him words of support and predictions of “victory” while the group shouted “Ventura, Ventura”.
In this visit, the penultimate of the election campaign for Sunday’s legislatures, the entourage of the arrival was headed by parliamentary leader, Pedro Pinto, and the head of the list by Setúbal, Rita Matias. Also present were several other leaders, such as the vice presidents of the Marta Silva or Pedro Frazão party.
More than 100 people participated in this initiative. The entourage interacted mostly with the market traders and listened to various desires for improvements to André Ventura.
In the middle of the visit, two large flags were placed inside the market, on the top floor, one with the arrival symbol and one with an image of André Ventura.
Second indisposition in three days
The arrival of the arrival again felt bad on Thursday, after having had a first indisposition on Tuesday. Twice André Ventura was observed in a hospital.
The party indicated that the arrival leader would go home when he was discharged from the São Bernardo hospital in Setúbal, which happened after 22:00, and that he would not be present at the end of the campaign for the legislatures.
On the way out, Ventura said the diagnosis of doctors pointed to an “esophageal spasm”.
After this visit at the end of the morning in Setúbal, the campaign ends with the usual runaway at Chiado, in Lisbon, in the afternoon.
