After beating Racing-Uru for South American, Corinthians should return with most of its holders for the game against Santos, this Sunday (18/05), at 16h (Brasília), for the ninth round of the Brazilian Championship, in Neo Chemistry Arena. The duel will be broadcast on TV Globo and Premiere.
In Brasileirão, Timão is in 10th place, with 10 points earned. The previous round was defeated from Alvinegro to Mirassol, 2-1, away from home.
Corinthians lineup against Racing-Uru
Corinthians has had little training time so far. The team re-presented at CT Dr Joaquim records this Friday. The holders stayed at the gym with focus, mainly, in physical recovery.
Memphis Depay suffered an ankle sprain during training last Monday. Examinations showed a small ligament injury. The Dutch follows as doubt. Prior to the trip to Uruguay, the steering wheel Raniele suffered an edema in the anterior muscle of the right thigh and is doubt.
There are three other casualties: defender Gustavo Henrique recovers from surgery to treat inguinal hernia. Already steering wheel José Martínez again felt pain in the back of the thigh and still had to undergo an urgent dental procedure. Finally, Rodrigo Garro continues to advance the recovery of a patellar tendinopathy in his right knee, but has not yet returned to training with ball.
