The report showed that in May iron ore dropped 1.74% after falling 3.79% in April; Grand corn retreated 5.36%, compared to an increase of 11.64% in April; And diesel oil was low of 6.34%, after falling 1.46% in the previous month.

In the analysis by groups, the IPA drop came in the wake of the retreat of raw material prices, which had 1.09% deflation in May, after falling 1.0% of the previous month.

Consumer Price Index (IPC), which accounts for 30% of the overall index, recorded the same April rate, a 0.42% increase.

In the IPC, there was an increase in five of the eight classes that make up the index: health and personal care (0.59% to 1.08%), diverse expenses (0.20% to 1.15%), housing (0.31% to 0.57%), clothing (0.02% to 0.66%) and education, reading and recreation (-0.69% to -0.45%).

Residential electricity rate and potatoes were the most prominent items for the IPC rise, rising 1.61% and 22.97%, respectively, in May, compared to 0.74% and 0.85% in the previous month.

The National Construction Cost Index (INCC-10), in turn, slowly slowed, rising 0.43% in May, after a 0.45% increase in April.

The IGP-10 calculates the prices to the producer, consumer and in construction between the 11th of the previous month and 10 of the reference month.
