Environment Minister Marina Silva is one of the political authorities confirmed at the 15th Annual Meeting of the Governors’ Task Force for Climate and Forests (GCF Task Force), which takes place in Rio Branco between 19 and 23 May.

The information was confirmed during a press conference, held by the Government of Acre, and was attended by Governor Gladson Cameli, this Friday (16), to present the event.
“It’s an opportunity to foster tourism and show our potential, and even more so, to show where the state needs to improve in the environment, said Governor Gladson Cameli.
This year’s edition will also have the presence of governors from 11 countries and representatives of 43 states and provinces, which make up the GCF. In all, the event will feature about 500 participants, including international bodies and members of civil society.
