According to the INSS, 1,069.201 beneficiaries made the consultation of discounts of associative entities. Of these, 1,051,238 (98.3%) said they did not recognize the bond with the responsible association and requested a refund, while 17,963 (1.68%) authorized the discount. If the responsible entity does not prove a bond and does not return the amounts within 15 business days, the government will evaluate the damage caused, the resources seized and decide whether it will be necessary to resort to the National Treasury to ensure reimbursement to beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries who have been notified may express whether or not agreed with the registered associative discount. In case of disagreement, he should report that he did not authorize the discount. With this negative, the system will automatically generate a charge to the responsible association. The entity will have 15 business days to prove the bond with the beneficiary, attaching to the Documents system, for example, attesting to its affiliation, the authorization for the discount and the identity of the insured. If it is confirmed that there was no formal authorization, the beneficiary will receive the reimbursement.
