Railway transport between Poprad and Spišská Nová VS is fully restored. Trains are already driving on both tracks. The Railway Company Slovakia (ZSSK) informed about it on the social network.
“Please note that delays may arise until all connections run, for the current restrictions, to their standard graphic,” informs ZSSK. In the section between Poprad and Spišská Nová Ves, the traffic was interrupted on the railway line from Wednesday (14 May). It came to static disturbance of the bridge Over the railway on the road I/18 in Poprad. During the reconstruction work on the bridge One of the beams crackedwhich the contractor was just removing from the bridge to replace them with new ones.
The Slovak Road Administration on Friday afternoon ended with the removal of the supporting structure of the sanitized bridge. On Friday afternoon they renewed the train transport between Poprad and Vydrik on one track.
