Spring is beautiful, but unfortunately for many it has a bitter flavor of the onset of all possible allergic reactions. The pollen is full everywhere and the poor administration is that it will continue until the autumn itself. At least at home we would like to get rid of it – but it will also be possible for garden furniture.
We can discuss whether a little less pollen on the terrace can help fight allergies. The sincere answer must be that such cleaning of problems, of course, will not quite relieve us, but can at least alleviate them. The main, however, will not let pollen through the threshold of the apartment.

Pollen is simply everywhere
Where does pollen settles? It’s simple: everywhere. It is full of window sills, even window frames, and keep on glass panes. The first step without which the pollen will not get rid of, therefore, will be thoroughly cleaning of all already “affected” surfaces. Wipe the window sills and windows with a cloth soaked in warm soapy water. This solution is directly magical, although it may seem that nothing simpler can even think of us.
The vacuum cleaner will always help
If you want to have a job even easier, first vacuum the pollen and dust with a vacuum cleaner. Try to get it from all possible and impossible places, even if you should use an old toothbrush. Such honesty really pays off – and if the pollen remained stuck somewhere and did not want to let go, the paste of edible soda and water simply could not resist.
Use petrolatum and keep dust away from home
As soon as it is done, we have to proceed quite quickly because the pollen does not feed and re -settles in the washed places. Although we do not prevent this, we can prepare a sticky treatment for these tiny particles in the form of a thin layer of petrolatum, which we will provide window sills and frames. Once she gets on her once, she won’t move. Such a simple trick does not let pollen into the apartment and the environment inside will therefore be much more pleasant for allergy sufferers.
Take a hose on the furniture
As on the windows, pollen settles on all things – for example, garden furniture. Unfortunately, it is, unfortunately, to wash before every use, but if you have purchased quality equipment, you do not have to make big problems with it. Water from the hose will be enough (just let it drain for a while to get rid of the warm, in which bacteria and other microorganisms have already accumulated.
And again is soapy water in the game
You can then bring the good work to the end again with the effective soap solution. Take a hand vacuum cleaner on the pillows and other fabrics, but if it is a little possible, go in the garden without them, or wear them only if you actually use them.
Think of the pollen in furnishing the terrace
Like garden furniture, there are also terraces. Also take them once in a while (or rather as often as possible) a strong stream of water. On the wooden terrace, they can be an effective helper against unnecessary settling of pollen with special varnishes that will heal the cracks and thus significantly reduce the surface on which such fine particles can settle. Choose a similar strategy when choosing tiles to put it on the terrace. The structured surfaces are certainly beautiful, but if you have an allergy sufferer at home, remember that the smoother the boards will be, the better they will maintain and the smaller the problems of the sick family member.
