Russia "violated Nato territory" with hunting sent to monitor "ghost" ship that disregarded orders from the Estonia's Armada

Talin considers that it is “a very serious and unfortunate incident”

After 189 other Russian’s “ghost” fleet ships were inserted into the European Union’s black list in the 17th Pack of Sanctions, Estonia is denouncing that Russia “violated the NATO territory”. This is because Moscow sent a fighter to monitor the position of the “Jaguar”, one of the ships of the “ghost” fleet that has been used by Kremlin as a means to circumvent sanctions on Russian oil.

Estonia Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna says this is a “very serious” situation, noting that the Russian aircraft “violated NATO’s territory for almost a minute.”

“Russia is ready to protect and defend the ghost fleet, the situation is really serious,” warns Tsahkna.

The stoned account reports that the “Jaguar” has entered Estonia’s economic waters, near the Gulf of Finland on Tuesday, “without insurance and without flag.”

Faced with the unidentified intruder, Talin responded “properly” and referred the ship out of his economic zone for “inspection.” The whole procedure was accompanied by military aircraft of the NATO surveillance mission in the Baltic Sea.

So far this is a something normal, but this time “what was different and important,” the minister describes, was that the ship resisted the orders of the Navy of Estonia and the Russian reaction was to send a fighter that “violated Nato’s territory for almost a minute.”

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte has already reacted to the succeeded and assured that he is working to determine what “happened exactly,” although resisting the incident as a climb.

The “Jaguar” was near the island of Naissar, in Talin Bay, when he was intercepted by the Navy of Estonia. Margus Tsahkna explains that “the ship refused to cooperate and continued its route toward Russia.”

At X, Tsahkna writes that this incident “shows that we need to act.” Estonia has already summoned the Russian ambassador in the country to “express a protest and deliver a note on the violation of Estonian airspace (…)”. “This is a very serious and unfortunate incident, totally unacceptable,” adds the minister.
