Young cabbage begins to appear in Polish stores in May. It is low in calories, and at the same time rich in many valuable nutrients. For this reason, it is worth preparing a delicious and refreshing salad for dinner. The more that it fits both meats and fish.

There is no shortage of vegetable antioxidantsinhibiting the aging and anti -cancer process. He is also in it fibersupporting digestion and intestinal work.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 head of young cabbage,
- carrot,
- 1/2 can of sweet corn (approx. 100 g),
- 1/2 red pepper,
- 1/2 onion (optional),
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
- a spoon of lemon juice,
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Method of performance:
Finely chop the cabbage and transfer to a large bowl. Peel and grate the carrots on a large grater. Cut the peppers into small cubes. Finely chop the onion (if you use). Drain the corn from the pickle.
Add prepared vegetables and corn to the cabbage bowl. Add mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly so that the salad is evenly covered with sauce. Put the salad in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes so that the flavors bite.
