Iranian Chancellor insisted once again that his country will not give up the right to maintain a peaceful nuclear program
Denied it on Friday (16) that he received a firm proposal from the nuclear agreement, as the US president said ,. “Iran has not received any written proposal from the US, neither directly nor indirectly,” said Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi, through the social network X (former Twitter). Iranian chancellor has insisted once again that his country will not give up the right to maintain a peaceful nuclear program. “Remember my words: there is no scenario in which Iran gives up their right harshly conquered by peaceful enrichment-a right that is also granted to all other TNP signatories (treaty of non-proliferation),” he said.
Araqchi reiterated that the US send confusing and contradictory messages, but Iran will remain firm. “Respect our rights and end up with your sanctions, and we will have a deal,” he said. Trump said Iran already has a firm proposal from Washington on the table for negotiations to reach an agreement about the country’s nuclear program, but if they don’t “act fast, something bad will happen.” “Yes, they have a proposal. And most importantly they know they need to act quickly. Something bad will happen,” said journalists aboard the Air Force One on the way to Washington after ending a four -day trip through the Middle East. Last Thursday, in Doha, Trump said he is “getting closer” from an agreement with Iran, whereby Iran “will not be able to have a nuclear weapon”, which “is the only very simple point” that the US demands for an agreement.
