Reproduction Michelin Guide: Overlooking Vineyards, The Wine House Hotel – Quinta da Pacheca offers barrel -shaped rooms, built from old barrels of unusable wine
The Michelin guide attributed ‘Chaves’ to 55 hotels in Portugal, having two received the highest distinction (three keys), in what was the first time the country welcomed these awards.
The ceremony took place at Maat on Thursday and distinguished Vila Vita Parc (Porches) and Penha Longa Resort (Sintra) with three keys-.
With two keys, the Michelin guide highlighted Albufeira Vila Joya, Funchalenses Les Suites at the Cliff Bay – PortoBay, Reid’s Palace, Belmond Hotel, Madeira and The Reserve Hotel, Six Senses Douro Valley de Lamego and Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, Lisbon.
Also red Melides (Melides), Palm Tower Wine Hotel (Monforte), Bela Vista Hotel & Spa (Portimão), Vidago Palace (Vidago), Quinta do Paral (Vidigueira), The Lynx Santa Clara (Vila do Conde) and Vinha Boutique Hotel (Vila Nova de Gaia) received two keys.
