More than 20 people died after the passage of tornadoes in the states of Missouri and Kentucky, in southern, reported authorities and local press on Saturday (17). Kentucky governor Andy Beshear said on social networks that at least 14 people died in the strong storms on Friday night. At least seven other people died in Missouri, according to The Washington Post. “We started today (Saturday) with the devastating news that we lost at least 14 of our inhabitants due to the storms last night, but unfortunately this number should increase as we receive more information,” said Beshear. “Please pray for all affected families,” he added.
