A truck driver managed to stop and immobilize a man who tried to rob him on the morning of last Friday (16), in Feijó, Acre’s interior. The time of the approach was recorded by security cameras and shows the driver holding the suspect until the police arrived.

According to the Military Police, the trucker was parked at a gas station on BR-364 when he was surprised by a man armed with a knife who announced the robbery. Without reacting with violence, the driver was able to disarm the suspect and immobilize him until the authorities arrived.
The video that circulates on social networks shows the moment when the trucker holds the man by the neck, preventing him from running away. The driver’s rapid and efficient action was praised by netizens, who highlighted the courage and self -control of the professional.
The suspect was arrested in the act and sent to the Feijó Civil Police Station, where he remains available to the court. Police reported that he has tickets for similar crimes in the region.
The trucker, who declined to be identified, said he acted by instinct and was just trying to protect himself.
