The State Government of Acre, through the Department of Roads, Waterway and Airport Infrastructure (Deracre), held on Friday (16) a technical survey in the works of the new Siberia Bridge in Xapuri. The project is part of Operation Summer 2025, which aims to accelerate major infrastructure works throughout the state.

The president of Deracre, Sula Ximenes, was at the construction site to closely follow the progress of the works, which are currently concentrated in the superstructure phase. According to her, about 70 workers are involved in the concreting of the lower slab of the successive balance sheets, a fundamental part for the support of the bridge.
“In response to the governor’s guidance, we follow firmly in the construction of the Siberia Bridge. At this stage, we are materializing the lower slab of the manure, which supports the entire superstructure of the bridge,” said Sula Ximenes.
With an investment of over R $ 40 million, the work is funded with funds from the state government and through the parliamentary amendment of Senator Márcio Bittar. The works must be closed in September.
