Brazilian brothers Celso Pereira Neto, 32, and Lucas Faraco, 29, who spent more than seven years sailing on a return to the world, returned the city of Ubatuba, on the coast of São Paulo, on Saturday morning (17). The return of the two took place at the pier of Baga da Ribeira Beach.
On board the Katoosh sailboat, named by which the two became known, and which honors a pet they had, they passed 52 countries, from the Caribbean region to the French Polynesia in the Pacific Ocean.
Through social networks, they shared the crossing since March 5, 2018, when they left Brazil, until the return on Sunday (17).
The onboard diary, however, eventually became work and attracted more than 1 million followers and sponsors.
Created at the sea since young people, the two spent their first years of their parents’ sailboat, when the family, which is from Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of São Paulo, decided to live in a boat, also in the city of Ubatuba, where they stayed until the youngest son, Celso, needed to fix on land to study.
Now, after the return home seven years later, the plan of the brothers is to continue sailing the Brazilian coast, and focus on creating content on social networks, showing the new adventures, focusing on creating content with the sailboat.
