Beijing (Reuters) – China announced on Sunday (18) anti -dumping tariffs of up to 74.9% on Pom copolymers imports, a type of engineering plastic from the Union, the Union, Japan and Taiwan.
Conclusions from the Ministry of Commerce end an investigation started in May 2024, shortly after the US increased dramatically tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, computer chips and other imports.
Pom copolymers can partially replace metals such as copper and zinc and have several applications, including auto parts, electronics and medical equipment, the ministry said.

In January, the ministry said the initial investigations had determined the occurrence of dumping and implemented preliminary anti -dumping measures in the form of a deposit from January 24.
