The accident
According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the victims were in a Honda CR-V vehicle that left the track on BR-293, at km 303. The accident happened around 3:20 pm, according to the PRF. The car, with license plate of Dom Pedrito (RS), overturned and ended up in a forest area.
Two men were hospitalized and are in serious condition. A fifth victim was even rescued, But he did not resist and died in the hospital.
