Four charred bodies were found in a burning car on Saturday night (17), in São João Batista, in the Tijucas River Valley, in Santa Catarina. The case is investigated as homicide by the Civil Police.
According to the Military Fire Department, the fire was recorded around 9:40 pm, on Timbezinho Municipal Road, in the Timbezinho neighborhood. Witnesses reported that they heard a scream followed by an explosion moments before the car was taken by the flames.

After the fire was controlled, the firefighters located one of the bodies lying in the rear seat of the vehicle. The other three were in the trunk.
The Military Police were fired and registered the case as a crime of murder. The authorship and motivation will still be investigated.
