Full in Amazonas: rises to 20 number of cities in emergency

Until now, 52,300 families were affected throughout the stateabout. The nine Amazonas rivers are still in full process, with varied peaks scheduled between March and July.

The Government of Amazonas has already sent 250 tons in basic baskets600 500 -liter water tanks, 57,000 glasses of drinking water, plus 10 Kits Purifying the Água Boa program for the municipalities of Manicoré, Apuí, Humaitá, Borba, Boca do Acre and Novo Aripuanã.

By the end of June, the rain will be forecast above average only in parts of Roraima and Amapá, while Amazonas should record normal precipitation levels. The information is from the Management and Operational Center of the Amazon Protection System (Censipam).

The State Civil Defense informs that the flood monitoring is continuous and carried out by the Civil Defense Monitoring and Alert Center, responsible for following river levels throughout the year.

Full operation

Operation Full 2025 began on April 16 with the announcement of Governor Wilson Lima on the sending of humanitarian aid to the Madeira River rail, initially serving the municipalities of Humaitá, Manicoré and Apuí, first cities to decrease emergency due to flood.

As part of the operation, 160 tons of basic baskets and 600 water tanks were sent to homes without access to regular supply.

The emergency package also included the sending of 33,000 glasses of drinking water and six water purifiers of the Água Boa project, capable of treating and distributing clean water in isolated communities.
