Investment contemplates Naming Rights and also covers under-15, under-17, under-20 and women’s soccer categories
Loterj (Rio de Janeiro State Lottery) became the official sponsor of the Rio de Janeiro State Series State Championship of Professionals.
The $ 14 million investment includes Naming Rights, turning the competition into the Carioca A2 Loterj Championship. The opening ceremony was held on Saturday (17.MAI.2025), at the Giulite Coutinho Stadium, in Mesquita, with the presence of Governor Claudio Castro.
The tournament, organized by (Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation), brings together 12 Fluminense Football Clubs. The competition includes disputes in the under-15, under-17, under-20 and women’s soccer categories.
The matches will be held at stadiums of the capital and municipalities in the interior of Rio de Janeiro. Participants include America, Americano, Bangu, Pottery, São Gonçalo, Cabofriense, Araruama, Duke of Caxias, Audax Rio, Petrópolis Gonçalense, Resende and Pérolas Negras.
The Giulite Coutinho Stadium, located at 200 Rua Cosmorama, was the scene of the official opening of the championship. The event began at 15h and marked the start of the competition with the financial support of the State Lottery.
The amount of R $ 14 million will be applied in the structuring of the tournament, which now incorporates the name of Loterj in its official denomination.

It is an investment that translates the spirit of the Cláudio Castro and Loterj government: social inclusion, development and commitment to Rio de Janeiro,” Said Hazonchlever Lopes Cançado, president of Loterj.
The resources for the project will be applied in football in different categories. The championship now has funding from Loterj.
