Warsaw – The first round of the presidential election started in Poland on Sunday. The vote is considered to be the direction: A victory of the pro-European candidate Rafał Trzaskowski from the Liberal-Conservative Citizens’ platform would clear the way for the reforms of the government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk. With the legal nationalist Karol Nawrocki, on the other hand, a continuation of the blockade policy of the outgoing head of state Andrzej Duda would be expected.
