Fat air when bouldering: What Vienna’s indoor operator and climbing guests do about it.

A study by the universities of Vienna and Lausanne recently whirled up a lot of dust: According to measurements, there are high concentrations of health -hazardous chemicals from climbing shoes in the air of bouldering halls. Some of them are higher than on a busy road. The standard at the Viennese climbing and bouldering institutions, at the Alpine Club in the Edelweiß Center in Walfischgasse and at the Austrian tourist club (ÖTK) in Bäckerstrasse, asked whether and how the operators deal with the problem and what you may and may be able to consider as a guest.
