Freire Gomes: “No doubt”, letter was attempted to break

In a statement to the Supreme Court, General Marco Antonio Freire Gomes, former Army Commander, said the letter signed by active force officers, released after the 2022 elections, represented “no doubt” an attempt to break institutional.

He classified the document as “unacceptable” and “inconceivable” within the military hierarchy, noting that political manifestations by active military violate the principles of the Armed Forces.
