The Santos player was replaced by Mateus Xavier and received the first precautions in the reserve bench. This is not the first time the Venezuelan has suffered from muscle problems this year.
Last month, Soteldo had already stayed out for about two weeks after suffering an edema in the same thigh. At the time, the injury occurred in a duel against Fluminense, when he felt pain with less than 30 minutes of play, having started in the bench. Against Corinthians, this Sunday, started the match as a starter.

Can Neymar get in Soteldo’s place against CRB?
Neymar continues in physical transition after a long period of recovery. Fish shirt 10 should be related soon, representing an important reinforcement for the cast.
Neymar is expected to return to the return match of the third phase of the Brazilian Cup against CRB, next Thursday (22), at 21h30 (Brasília time). Nevertheless, Santos has not yet officially commented on the attacker’s return.

Will Soteldo pass how long without playing?
Shortly after leaving the lawn, Soteldo began treatment with an ice bag at the pain site. There is no official diagnosis yet, but the player’s recent history raises questions about the availability for Santos’ next commitments.
If Soteldo does not meet game conditions, it will be another important low for the technician. By 2025, the Venezuelan already played 17 matches for Santos, gave two assists, but has not yet swing the nets. It is expected to undergo exams in the coming days to determine the severity of the injury.

The midfielder João Schmidt is currently recovering, with left thigh injury, and striker Guilherme, due to problem in hip flexors.
