President should go to France and Canada in June and increase the absence period in Brasilia to be in commitments abroad

The president (PT) spent 106 days outside Brazil during his 3rd term. Only in 2025 it was 18 days abroad. The year is still halfway to the 5th month, but the petista is already approaching the amount of 2024 – 26 days that year.

The Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Meatary, is expected to call Lula soon to reinforce the invitation already delivered to the Planalto so that he participates in the meeting of G7 (June 15-17) in Kananaskis, in the province of Alberta.

If you go to the event in Canada, in early June, Lula will accumulate at least 5 days outside the country.

The president returned to Brazil on Thursday (15.mai.2025) after a roundabout he did in Uruguay to participate in the funeral of Pepe Mujica, in Montevideo.

Earlier, he made a spin through Russia and China. Lula left Brazil at the end of May 6 and returned at dawn on the 15th, when he went to Uruguay the same day.

If you go to Canada and France, you will add at least 23 days outside Brazil in 2025. It’s not even June yet.

The trip to the funeral of Mujica was the 5th trip of the president in 2025. The petista had already gone to Uruguay in February for the inauguration of President Yamandú Orsi (Front, Center left).
