A PS (Socialist Party) politician of Portugal said he was assaulted by a right -wing opponent hours before parliamentary elections in the country.

According to Miguel Coelho, president of the Parish Council, the Santa Maria Maior Subprefecture in Lisbon, the aggressor was a former public employee and party supporter arrives.

The President of the Socialist Party and candidate for Prime Minister Pedro Nuno Santos condemned the aggression reported by voting this morning in Telheiras, in the Metropolitan Region of Lisbon. “We have to respond firmly against any kind of violence and aggression”, said the candidate.
