From yeast dough, you can prepare not only sweet baked goods, it is also perfect as a base for dry buns. The base of the dough for perames There is cake flour, milk, butter and yeast. Prepare the stuffing with good quality ground beef, also add onions, garlic, marjoram, and sweet and hot peppersthanks to which it will be delicious and expressive. Interestingly, this dish is fried in deep fat. It definitely does not belong to dietary proposals, but from time to time it is worth tempting to prepare it. Such a snack can be an interesting proposition for a party table.
Cake ingredients:
- 25 g of fresh yeast,
- 125 ml of milk,
- 125 ml of water,
- 50 g of butter,
- 500 g of cake flour,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- 500 g of ground beef,
- 2 onions,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1 teaspoon of marjoram,
- 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper,
- ½ teaspoon of hot peppers,
- salt, pepper (to taste),
- Oil (for frying).
Crunch into a bowl yeast. Add sugar to them and mix. Combine yeast with milk heated to about 37 ° C. Leave for 15 minutes in a warm place under cover from a cotton cloth.
Melt the butter and cool down. In a large bowl, combine the yeast leaven with flour and salt sieved through the strainer. Add water. Kneading the dough – manually or with a mixer with hooks – gradually pour the butter into it. When the dough reaches a smooth, compact consistency, transfer it to a slightly greased bowl and put it under cover from the cloth in a warm place. Leave this for an hour. After this time, knead again and set aside for half an hour to continue to grow.
In the meantime, dice the onion and fry in oil. Add garlic squeezed through Prague and fry for a while. Remove the onion with garlic from the pan. Add a little oil and fry the meat on it. When it is browned, put the onion with garlic back in the pan, add marjoram and both peppers, fry for a while, stirring from a while. Season the meat to taste with salt and pepper.
Knead the risen dough again and divide into about 15-20 portions. Form balls from them. In turn, flatten each ball to thin pancakes. Place a portion of stuffing on them. Wrap the edges of the dough around the filling so that you almost completely close them into a flat pouch – leave a small hole. Put the prepared perames for 15-20 minutes in a warm place.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan. It is supposed to be so that the perames literally swim in it (at least 500 ml), immersed in half. Sleep buns in parties for 2-3 pieces – about 2 minutes on each side, starting from the one with the hole. After frying, put perames to a paper towel so that it absorbs excess fat.
