The Baixadas COP Movement implemented Yellow Zones in Belém, Pará, with the aim of decentralizing discussions about climate change and benefiting peripheral communities. These initiatives are being prepared for the, which is scheduled for November. The collective, made up of 15 organizations, aims to expand the concept of Yellow Zones to other cities that will host future editions of the conference. Currently, four Yellow Zones are operating in Belém, located in spaces such as the Hub Ghetto and the Literary Barca Community Library. These areas are focused on offering courses, training and debates on, and highlighting the cultural and social potential of local communities, with the intention of attracting investments.

In Vila da Barca, a tourist information center has already been inaugurated, and a new cultural center, which will feature a museum and an art gallery, is under construction. To make this project possible, a collection campaign was launched, seeking support from the community and partners. Prior to COP30, the movement will be co -confined to the 20th Youth Conference (COY), which will bring together young activists to discuss climate change issues.
