Time is important in the fight against aphids. The less pests, the easier it is to get rid of them. In garden stores you can buy ready spraying on aphids, or use several home ways. Gardeners to fight aphids recommend spraying of vinegar, baking soda or a decoction of garlic. There is another, slightly less known, natural way to aphid. It’s spraying from onions. Its intense smell is irritating to aphids and scares them away. In addition, the onion contains sulfides that neutralize and kill aphids.
How to prepare natural spraying for aphids?
From onions it is simple to prepare. All you have to do is prepare 3 medium -sized onions, take them out and cook until tender. Cool the whole and strain through a sieve. Dilute the obtained decoction in 1 liter of water and pour into a washer bottle. Spray it from the tip to the roots. If you want spraying to be even more effective and do not flow too quickly from the leaves and stems, you can add a few drops of vascular fluids to it. Thanks to this, the preparation will “stick” on the plant aphids. Use onion spraying once a week. You can also use it by preventively splashing plants once a month. Thanks to this, aphids will not appear on the shoots at all.
