China will grant an additional $ 500 million quota to the World Health Organization (WHO) over the next five years, the country’s deputy prime minister of the country to the World Health Assembly told Geneva, on Tuesday (20).
Liu Guozhong promised China’s support to the global health body, plunging him into a financial crisis.
“The world now faces the policy of power, bringing great challenges to global health security… multilateralism is a safe solution to face difficulties,” Liu Guozhong told delegates.
