Many of our countrymen choose this country due to the weather guarantees, beautiful landscapes and easy access. Most people decide to travel by their own car. However, the airlines are launching more and more connections at attractive prices, and not long from Poland to Croatia, you will be able to go by train.

Three years ago, the connection on the route – Split planned to launch the Czech regiolet, which even published a timetable. However, the plan has not been implemented. Therefore, information that this year will start a direct connection made by PKP Intercity pleased many. A direct journey from Poland to Croatia by train is the dream of many Poles who do not like flying, and the route over the Adriatician defeated by car is too matting.
As Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on the portal X, a direct rail connection from Poland to Croatia will start in June and will be implemented four days a week. Although PKP Intercity initially planned to launch transport on the Warsaw – Rijeka – Split route, recent information shows that we will only reach Rijeka by train.

A direct train from Poland to Croatia is to start in June. However, there is no exact date yet. As we wrote above, connections are to be made 4 times a week. The journey may take about 19 hours. The route is to start in Warsaw, from where the composition will set off in the afternoon to reach Rijeka in the morning. Along the way, the train will stop at: Opoczno, Włoszczów, Katowice, Ostrava, Vienna, Graz, Maribor, and Ljubljana. The return train from Rijeka to Warsaw is to move at 19.00. Ticket prices are to start from PLN 200. The final amount we will pay for the journey will depend on what place we choose, e.g. a sleeping car, will be more expensive.
