We still have to wait a bit before the season for juicy, sweet tomatoes. Currently, we can settle for tomato tomatoes. Many people complain that they are bland. We can slightly overclock its focus with a specific spice. It’s not about chili at all.
Some add to chili to give the soup focus. It turns out that you can use other spices to get a completely new taste and aroma.
For example, a few drops of Tabasco will make the soup slightly vinegar. For those who like maximum sharpness, habanero peppers are perfect – it contains a note of tropical fruit and has a very intense smell. Just use it for the whole pot.
Kimchi is also a component worth attention, perfectly matching the cream, giving it an Asian accent. Add this spice after mixing the soup, just before serving.
The tomato will not come out for bland or too spicy if we add horseradish to it. We can use both from the jar and fresh root. In the latter case, we give it twice less because it is sharper. This time we will present a recipe for tomato soup with this addition.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of meat per broth;
- 2.5 liters of cold water;
- 500 ml of tomato passage;
- 3 carrots;
- 1 parsley root;
- 1 by;
- A piece of celery;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 3 teaspoons of tomato concentrate;
- 2 teaspoons of grated horseradish;
- 3 allspice grains;
- 3 bay leaves;
- Spices: salt and pepper to taste;
- Optional: 4 tablespoons of sour cream for closing.
Preparation:
To make a slightly spicy tomato, at the beginning we put the meat into the pot and pour it with cold water. We boil all and collect scum.
In the next step, we add bay leaves, allspice, pepper, peeled and cut into smaller pieces, as well as garlic squeezed through the Prague.
We cook everything until the meat is soft. Then add a passata, concentrate and finely starts horseradish. Boil and season with salt and pepper as desired.
Finally, we can take tomato soup. For this purpose, pour a little decoction and mix it with sour cream. Then pour the cream mixture into a pot.
We serve the tomato with pasta or rice. We can also remove the meat and mix it to the cream soup. Then it will taste best with crunchy croutons.
