Three students were injured today in a knife attack on Pirkala, southwest, and the suspect, a student of the educational institution, was arrested, police said today.
The three injured do not bear injuries that put their lives at risk, police spokesman Nina Yurakou told AFP.
Police are investigating media information that the student allegedly targeted girls during the attack, a police spokesman added.
Three students were stabbed at a primary school in Pirkkala in southwestern , and the suspect, a student at the school, was arrested shortly afterwards, police say.

This educational institution has an elementary school and a Gymnasium. First aid workshops have rushed to the spot, police said on its website.
The manifesto of the perpetrator
The suspect allegedly sent a “manifesto” to the Finnish media this morning. It is said to have stated that he was planning to stab girls and then surrender to the police.
He also allegedly wrote that he was planning the attack for six months, according to local media.
Police were alerted to the attack at 10:42 local time (and Greek time).
