In an action of, joint operation of security agencies arrested two people in the act, accused of drug trafficking and gambling promotion, as well as seizing nicheal hunting machines.
The action brought together agents from the Civil and Military Police, GCM (Metropolitan Civil Guard) and City Hall. Commercial points were inspected on the streets of Andradas, Gusmões, Protestants and General Osório, in the Center.
Three establishments were sealed, as authorized by one last week that facilitated these measures. The inspection will extend until the end of the night of this Monday and will resume this week.
The decree provides for the immediate closure of establishment with “activity that may lead to risk to the health, safety and physical integrity of persons and goods”. The same will happen where there is sale of products of doubtful origin, which includes drugs.
Responsible for actions in Cracolândia in the São Paulo government, Deputy Governor Felício Ramuth says that, before the decree, the interdiction of trades required a slow and bureaucratic process. As an example, he mentions that a bar on General Osório Street, where the couple was arrested, had already been targeted in a previous operation managed to avoid the ban.
