By 2020, during the pandemic, he was accused of sending audio on WhatsApp where he ‘uttered prejudiced words to the Jews and released the messages in groups’, according to judge Renata William Catelli of the 21st Criminal Court of Sao Paulo.

In the process, he argued that he shared the audio ‘with childhood friends and that his target was never the Jews, but the municipal and state public administration during the pandemic.’
Amadeu claimed that he sent an apology to the Israeli Federation of São Paulo on April 27, 2022. But, according to criminalist Daniel Bialski, lawyer of the Israeli Confederation of Brazil (Conib), ‘it was proven that (Adilson Amadeu) never apologized, and even presented ideologically false documents to try to induce the judge in error.’

Amadeu had also been convicted of racial injury after anti -Semitic attacks on Councilman Daniel Annenberg (PSDB), in a session in the São Paulo City Council. During the discussion of a project in December 2019, he cursed his colleague of ‘Jewish son of a bitch’ and ‘Judeu shit’.
Daniel Bialski, together with other lawyers, acted as an assistant to the accusation. For him, the condemnation of Amadeu ‘is another example that there will be a fighting and questing search for the punishment of all kinds of hate speech against the Jewish community.’
“Even against those anti -Semites who try to wear jargon and disguise their prejudice,” says Bialski. “We will not rest until everyone is punished, because Brazil is a cradle of harmonic coexistence and this racism can never be tolerated.”
