Washington – doctors in the USA has succeeded in bladder transplantation in a person for the first time. The 41-year-old organ recipient received both a bladder and a kidney from an organ donor on May 4 at an eight-hour operation in the Ronald Reagan Ucla Medical Center in Los Angeles, the University of California said. The surgeons first transplanted the kidney, then the bladder before they both connected with a technology they developed.
