This last weekend, there were parliamentary elections in. Although the Government Party (AD) -Left Center or Right Center Party, depending on the cut -, has been ahead, the growth of the latter election drew attention. Similar phenomenon happened in the elections in France and Germany.
The growth of the right in Europe is explained by the fact that the left defend disconnected guidelines from the real problems of the population. Woke agenda (abortion, gender ideology, drug legalization, environmental alarmism, etc.) interest left intellectuals, but they are not a problem for the middle class and the poorest population. The people itself wants to know of security, immigration issues, controlled inflation, employment and economic growth.
If in the past, the left was more capable of identifying mass problems, today this place has been increasingly taken on the right. The reason is simple: the right touches on real and concrete problems, while the left discusses abstract and idealized issues that only interest a noisy minority.
